The structure presents as a two-storey house from the front, yet reveals a four-storey elevation at the back. Similar to a horn speaker that amplifies sound, visitors entering through the intimate scale at the front are met with a surprising, expansive view of Bukit Timah Hill at the rear.
Capitalizing on its distinctive location, the rear of the house features large glazed areas, contrasting with the more enclosed front. As an addition and alteration to an existing corner house, the design seeks to distinguish itself from the surrounding cluster housing through its unique form and finishes.
