The talented and late Shunji Matsuo was a renowned stylist in Singapore. The JEM Shunji Hair Salon catered to a diverse clientele in the newly established Jurong mall.
The design is contemporary with the shopfront design, drawing inspiration from a little girl’s bob haircut with a short fringe. The verticality of the entryway complements the central reception counter, which features a vertically linear wooden design.
The hair salon's interior features an open and efficient layout complemented by warm colors.
