This corner terrace house is situated at the terminus of a tranquil cul-de-sac, adjacent to a park connector. The client has commissioned our services to assess numerous prospective locations before concluding the acquisition. The environs offer an abundance of thriving, mature trees along the park connector, and the premises extend into an enlarged frontage attributable to the cul-de-sac. This unique setting aptly suits the client’s preference for verdant surroundings and small family pool.
To optimize panoramic views of the picturesque mature trees along the park connector from all interior spaces, a full-height curtain wall system has been conceived. These trees also function as a natural buffer between the dwelling and the pedestrian thoroughfare along the park connector.
The architectural composition includes a pronounced concrete skin, arising from the rear wall and assumes an undulating contour that encapsulates the entire exterior morphology; encompassing the roof, frontal elevation, and culminating in a commanding cantilevered roof canopy over the vehicular portico.
This integrated envelope serves to shield the interior from inclement weather and affords seclusion from neighboring parcels within this compact community.
The internal spatial configurations have been conceived to facilitate unobstructed vistas and ventilation, enhancing the overall desirability of the reconstructed abode.
