Xin Tian City Entrance Boulevard @ Zhengzhou, China
We have been commissioned to develop a landscape design concept for the entrance of the existing development, Xin Tian City Phase 1, located in Zhengzhou, China. The architecture and streetscape of the site are characterized by a neo-classical style.
Geometric Design Inspiration
In order to maintain a consistent stylistic expression, we drew inspiration from the principles of classical landscape design, which emphasize geometric composition. To implement this approach, we undertook a geometric abstraction of the existing built environment, extending from the main entrance gate to the hotel lobby.
The lines derived from this process were subsequently rationalized to inform the development of water features, planting areas, flooring finishes, and additional elements.
